As a passionate traveler, Zina Shaknovich´s work brought her to many different countries, and each time she returned home with a new recipe for food that was both delicious and unique. She soon found herself creating salads made out of the most tantalizing ingredients from all around the world. She set out to bring these delicious salads from across the world into American homes through Zina's Fine Foods. A place to find something for everyone! Alongside friend Ruth Sigman in 1983, they introduced their line of variety products that the company has been known for, including stuffed crepes, soups, desserts, flavor-infused cream cheese, and finally, salads.

Zina's Fine Foods commitment to taste, aesthetic representation, and production processes allowed the company to become one of the most well-recognized players in the ready-made salad market of the Northeast region.

Today the company’s portfolio consists of more than 50 items, and the authentic taste of Zina’s Fine Foods is still a fundamental part of each of our recipes.
