Spiced Chicken Pilaf with Golden Rice & Aromatic Spices 🍗🌿

A one-pan dish that’s warm, fragrant, and just the right amount of bold. Tender chicken, golden rice, and earthy spices come together in perfect balance — the kind of meal that feels both comforting and a little adventurous.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups basmati rice
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley or mint for garnish


Instructions:

  1. Sauté the aromatics – Heat oil in a large pan. Add onion and garlic, cook until golden.
  2. Cook the chicken – Add diced chicken, season with salt, pepper, and spices. Stir until browned.
  3. Add the rice – Mix in rice and let it absorb the flavors for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Simmer – Pour in chicken broth, cover, and cook on low heat for 15–20 minutes until rice is tender.
  5. Fluff and serve – Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
