This one’s all about good ingredients, simple prep, and the right kind of olive oil. Sweet cherry tomatoes tossed with herbs, salt, and a little balsamic - served with creamy burrata and fresh basil. No effort, just balance.
Serve it cold, with toasted bread or on its own. And if you want a proper plate, add Zina’s Greek Pasta Salad, Tuscan Pasta Salad, or any of our pasta salads - every one of them pairs perfectly.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 ball of burrata
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil to garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix tomatoes with olive oil, balsamic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Arrange in a shallow bowl. Place burrata in the center.
- Finish with basil leaves and a pinch of black pepper.
Note: The better the olive oil, the better the result. Don’t skip the resting time - it matters.
