Pesto Spaghetti with Burrata 🍝

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 burrata ball
  • 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts or chopped almonds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

 

Directions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the pesto sauce and mix well.
  3. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the pan and mix until well-coated with the pesto.
  4. Plate the pesto pasta, and top it with a fresh ball of burrata.
  5. Sprinkle with toasted pine nuts or chopped almonds, freshly cracked black pepper, and extra herbs if desired.
  6. Cut into the burrata and let the creamy goodness mix with the warm pesto pasta. Enjoy!
